Events at the stand of the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade

The Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade organises a series events at its stand within the conference programme of Khimia 2025. Industry experts will discuss various aspects of the chemical industry.

The programme opened with the Expert Session on Technical Regulation of Chemical Products: Forming Development Tools, where experts exchange views on key areas of standardisation development in the petrochemical industry.

Two more expert sessions are taking place on the first day of the show. The Expert Session on the Overview of the Catalyst Market in Russia is devoted to issues of the volume of the Russian market of catalysts for chemical, oil and gas chemistry processes. The participants in the Expert Session on Effective Foreign Trade Practices: How Exporters and Importers Cope with Challenges share their experience in overcoming barriers to international trade and discuss logistics, customs regulation, certification, and access to foreign markets.

Presentations on foreign economic activities are made by Dmitry Ogorodtsev, Vice President at the Russian Chemists Union, General Director at Okapol, President at the DzerzhinskKhimRegion Association, Dmitry Starostin, Deputy Chair at the Government of Nizhny Novgorod Oblast, Konstantin Nikolaev, Head of Export Development and Government Relations at Fitocosmetic, Aleksandr Maksimkin, Managing Partner at SCS Consulting, and Ksenia Gritsepanova, Director for Practice of Providing Legal Services in Banking and Finances at Technologies of Trust.

In the following days, the ministry’s stand will host different events dedicated to HR policy in the industry and issues of training professionals for industry enterprises, engineering ideas and introduction of innovative solutions, engineering and reengineering in the chemical industry, prospects for the production and consumption of rare earth metals, issues of starting chemical startups, and issues of popularization of the chemical industry and chemical blogging in social media.
