Multigon silos due to their design with flexible internal walls effectively prevent the adhesion of materials to the inner walls. The octagonal cross-section of the Multigon silo cells in combination with the smooth transition to the chute (without blanking zone) and the Oszillomat discharge system allows the silo’s contents to be continuously maintained in an active state, thus providing a mass flow. This technology is ideal for cases where it is not possible to use hoppers with a discharge chute, as well as for rectangular and square discharge systems. Multigon silos are installed inside and outside the workshop, providing safe storage of hygroscopic, thermo- and moisture-sensitive bulk solids.

The unit is connected to a standard vacuum cleaner in which the screened materials are subsequently retained. A small quantity of the product to be analyzed is applied to the screen and weighed exactly. Then the screen is sealed airtight with an acrylic glass cover. The screening process begins right after the relatively short screening time of 3-5 minutes has been set and the start button has been pushed.
The rotating air-jet nozzle mixes up the product and blows the sieve bottom-up at the same time. The negative pressure produced by the vacuum cleaner draws the fine particles through the mesh holes down into the filter bag of the vacuum cleaner. The integrated 3-way valve always provides a quick and precise adjustment of the negative pressure. The unit stops automatically after the pre-set time has been reached. The weight of the sieve residue on the screen is then measured.

For cold briquetting of material with temperatures of up to 100°C / 212°F it may be necessary to add binders to improve the briquette forming characteristics. Typical briquette sizes range between 1.5 and 250 ccm. As a result of the symmetrical pockets machined into the surfaces of the rollers, briquette machine production yields very uniform briquettes. Binders are primarily used for the briquetting of substances that have an inadequate adhesive power and are unable to produce a firm briquette.
In this manner, coal dust has been converted into oval shapes used as domestic fuel for more than 100 years now. Material to be briquetted without additive binders is fed between two counter-rotating profiled rollers via suitable feeding equipment.
The feedstock is drawn into the briquetter and pressed through the gap between the rollers. As a result of its void volume being reduced, the bulk materials apparent density will be compacted by factor of 1.5 - 3.

Container Mixer MIXACO consists of a mobile container and the actual mixer.
The container serves as transport container, as mixing container during mixing and as reservoir container for the further processing.
The container filled with raw materials is connected with the mixing head of the mixer and turned through 180° into the mixing position.
After mixing has been completed and the mixer has been turned back into its basic position, the mixed product in the container is transported on for the further processing.
In the cleaning position, the mixer can be cleaned quickly and without any residues being left.
Comparing with usual technologies, the use of Multitool decreases tenfold the heating of the material: mixing components are heated only to 0.5-1° C per minute. This became possible due to the special arrangement of the mixing instruments.

Air classifiers NEUMAN & ESSER are effectively used in the chemical, mineral and other industries for the production of fine powders. They ensure efficient separation of fines from the total flow of material.
The initial layout of the NEUMAN & ESSER air classifier GRC (Guide Ring Classifier) was designed for the classification of roughly 200 μm to 20 μm particles. Depending on the classifier size, throughputs of several tons per hour for medium fineness are possible. For classification in the higher fineness range, throughput is reduced to several hundred kilograms per hour because the number of particles to classify increases exponentially.
In order to improve the already existing high performance, NEUMAN & ESSER has now made several improvements to the GRC air classifier. The experts focused on how to dispersing fine and coarse in the feed material and on efficiently guiding the material through the GRC classification process.
The new GRC design features now a distribution cone in the inlet of the feed material above a significantly redesigned dispersing unit. After sliding down the cone and passing the dispersion zone, the material reaches the known ring gap. In contrast to the former design now, a virtuously engineered guide vane ring handles the transportation into the direction of the classification zone.
Extensive and detailed testing revealed an unexpected magnitude of improvements not only in yield, throughput and energy consumption but also in the range of achievable fineness, as the company told. The new design now allows widening the possible fineness range from 200 μm to 2 μm.
