Anniversary Khimia is open
The 28th edition of the International Exhibition for the Chemical Industry and Science – Khimia 2025 – has opened at Timiryazev Centre, Moscow. This year, Khimia celebrates its 60th anniversary. The first edition of the show took place in 1965 in Moscow’s Sokolniki Park. The next two editions were held in 1974 and 1977 at the same place. Khimia 2025 occupies a total area of 18,000 square metres and welcomes 516 exhibitors from 8 countries: Russia, Belarus, China, India, Iran, Kazakhstan, Turkiye, and Uzbekistan. Russia is represented by 274 companies. Belarus, China, India, and Iran have national pavilions.
Thanks to the assistance of regional business support centres, companies from Kaluga, Leningrad, Ryazan, Samara, Tomsk Oblasts and Stavropol Krai participate within their respective regional group stands. There also group stands of the Moscow and Nizhny Novgorod chambers of commerce and industry.
According to Maxim Fateev, Director General at EXPOCENTRE, Khimia is becoming the main platform where government, business and science can have a constructive dialogue. “It is the place to present innovative solutions, discuss state support mechanisms, and sign contracts. In fact, Khimia 2025 is an indicator of how ready the industry is for a technological breakthrough," says Maxim Fateev.
