SBK has released a new product: Deprovisium® 8U viscosity modifier with excellent performance characteristics
SBK is specializing in the supply of raw materials for various sectors of the chemical industry. The company is steadily growing, increasing its warehouse space, expanding its product range, and optimizing logistics year after year.
Ôîòî: ÎÎÎ «ÑÁÊ»In 2019, SBK commissioned a 300-ton-per-month polymethacrylate production facility. The production site is located in Kazan.
A new product, the Deprovisium® 8U viscosity modifier, is designed to create modern hydraulic oils with superior performance characteristics. This product combines reliability and versatility. Compatible with various base oil groups, the modifier ensures stable operation of hydraulic systems at extremely low temperatures while also offering high resistance to mechanical degradation. The Deprovisium® 8U viscosity modifier is successfully used in HVLP 32 hydraulic oils with both mineral and semi-synthetic bases. The developed formulations demonstrate excellent performance characteristics and full compliance with technical requirements. Results of mechanical breakdown tests (KRL) show a reduction in kinematic viscosity at 100°C of 14.87% for the mineral base and 7.70% for the semi-synthetic base, which is significantly better than the regulatory requirement of no more than 15%.
The barrier to the implementation of Deprovisium® 8U today is market inertia: the conservatism of technologists, the inertia of production, as well as stereotypes about the quality of Russian products, distrust of new solutions and fear of risks when changing suppliers.
“The market can be reassured through trust and digitalization,” say SBK representatives. “In particular, this will be facilitated by the creation of an AI platform that will enable formulation selection and prediction of properties before testing.”
According to Ekaterina Kornyushina, SBK's technology partner for AI implementation, the modern chemical industry is undergoing revolutionary changes, where traditional research methods are giving way to intelligent systems capable of predicting material properties and optimizing processes with high accuracy.
The AiNeuroChem platform, a comprehensive AI solution specifically designed to accelerate chemical research and development, can reduce costs and accelerate R&D. The system is based on neural networks trained using specialized chemistry knowledge. More information about the innovative solutions offered by SBK will be available at Khimia 2025 and on the company's website: https://chemie.ru
