Key projects for Russia's technological leadership
PVC-E (emulsion polyvinyl chloride)
Ruschem is implementing a project to build an emulsion polyvinyl chloride production facility with a capacity of 60,000 tonnes per year at Bashkir Soda Company. Currently, Russian consumers rely on imports of this product. The Sterlitamak facility will meet the domestic market demand for emulsion PVC.
Formic acid
Formic acid is in demand across a variety of industries, including chemical, leather, metallurgy, and agriculture. Establishing formic acid production will address a number of technological challenges crucial for the production of new products, including formates, and will strengthen the company's position as a technology leader.
Sulfoammophos
It is the holding's new product on the market in 2025. A highly effective three-component fertilizer containing nitrogen (16%), phosphorus (20%), and sulfur (12%), developed specifically for Russian agricultural soil types.
Feed-grade methionine
Ruschem is increasing methionine production. The project, scheduled for completion by 2030, will increase amino acid production to 100,000 tonnes per year. The sulfate-free methionine production line is focused on national priorities and will fully meet the domestic market's demand for this essential amino acid.
Essential amino acids
Ruschem is implementing a project to launch production of essential amino acids – lysine sulfate and lysine monohydrochloride – at the Donbiotech plant. The high-tech facility will produce up to 90,000 tonnes of both forms of L-lysine per year, an essential amino acid for livestock production. The planned output of lysine monohydrochloride – up to 40,500 tonnes – is of particular importance for strengthening the agriculture industry.
Developing the agrochemical sector and strengthening Russia's position in the global high-tech chemicals market is an important task for Ruschem Group.
