ChimMed Group takes important step in import substitution
Khimia’s regular exhibitor, the multi-industry ChimMed Group has been producing high-purity solvents, reagents for laboratories and industrial facilities, acids, salts, radiation safety products, and other solutions for over 10 years. This year, the company rebranded and presented new analytical equipment of its own manufacture.

This spring, it presented a cutting-edge domestic R&D product —the AtomiX next-generation gas chromatograph-mass spectrometer (GC/MS/MS). The development, driven by the preservation of domestic technological sovereignty and the development of high-tech solutions, took approximately two years. ChimMed's own production facilities manufacture all components and assemblies of the electron and ion optics, electron ionization source elements, quadrupole mass filter rods, prefilter and collision cell, external panels, and cathodes.
Market participants have shown a keen interest in in this new products. According to ChimMed General Designer Ivan Khanbekov, there have been quite a few requests. Serial production of AtomiX products is scheduled for the end of 2025.
This is an important step in import substitution, eliminating dependence on foreign supplies. The company possesses all the necessary technologies for processing various materials and precision alloys to achieve the required instrument characteristics.
At Khimia 2025 this autumn, ChimMed will present the AtomiX gas chromatograph-mass spectrometer, as well as a basic range of chemical products and laboratory equipment.
