Khimia 2021 is the most prestigious industry exhibition!

The Khimia exhibition has been held at EXPOCENTRE Fairgrounds since 1965. Today the project maintains its position as one of the leading industry shows, combining a number of specialised salons: Chemmash. Pumps, Chem-Lab-Analyt, Automation and Digital Manufacturing, Innovations and Advanced Materials, Petrochemistry,  Green Chemistry, Plastics Industry,  Startup Chemzone for small innovative business.

Traditionally, the exhibition will present cutting-edge technologies, new engineering developments, raw materials and equipment for the chemical, petrochemical, food and medical industries, construction industry, fuel and energy, and agro-industrial complex. Also there are widely presented products of chemical synthesis, fuel, reagents, catalysts, chemical fibers, composite materials and fiberglass. Equipment for transportation of chemical and petrochemical products and solutions for increasing environmental safety of chemical production will be important segments of the exhibition.
StartUp ChemZone for small innovative enterprises has been operating at the exhibition since 2017, during which more than 40 companies have participated in the exposition. Every year, the zone participants sign contracts with major Russian and foreign customers.

In 2021 we expect:

  • more than 200 exhibitors from 11 countries;
  • over 14,000 sq. m of exhibition space;
  • 4 Russian group stands representing Kaluga, Leningrad, Nizhny Novgorod and Yaroslavl regions;
  • national pavilions of Germany and Belarus;
  • more than 10,000 visitors.

The Khimia exhibitors include: Alliance – Energy, Bashkir Soda Company, Baltica-Trans, VSMPO-Avisma, Dalgakiran, Zavkom Engineering, Krata, Kuibyshev Azot, Melytec, Norkem (Syntanol plant), Okachim, Reatorg, Reatex, SBC, Tecsa, Tefos (Neftekhimmash), PhosAgro, Ecroskhim and many others.
Foreign companies will be represented as well. There will be national pavilions of Germany and the Republic of Belarus, as well as individual stands of companies from Canada, China, France, India, Iran, Japan, Turkey and the United Kingdom.
Group stands of Kaluga, Leningrad, Nizhny Novgorod and Yaroslavl regions will showcase products and developments of regional companies, as well as investment opportunities of these regions.

The exhibition is accompanied by an extensive conference programme. Key events will be the 9th Moscow International Chemical Forum and the 3rd International Tank Container Forum. Highlights of the conference programme include the status and prospects of the industry, foreign trade in chemical products, new developments in construction chemistry, digitalisation of production, and corrosion protection. Particular attention is expected to be paid to the development of chemical education and the strengthening of the industry's human resources potential. A presentation is planned for the NEMOLECULA project created as part of the Moscow Mayor's Grants (“Popularisation of professions in the chemical industry among young people in Moscow”). In addition, for the second time, the Lean Production championship will be held at the Khimia exhibition venue, where companies will be able to share best practices in improving the efficiency of the chemical business.

The exhibition is officially supported by the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade, Russian Chemists Union, NIITEKHIM OAO, Chimvest Scientific and Technical Centre, Mendeleev Russian Chemical Society, Chemistry Department of Lomonosov Moscow State University, Mendeleev University of Chemical Technology of Russia, under auspices of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry
