Launch of the Chemical Forum
The key event of the supporting program of the 22nd Khimia international exhibition is the 7th Moscow International Chemical Forum. It is organised by the Russian Chemists Union in cooperation with the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade, Chimvest Scientific and Technical Centre, and Expocentre AO.
The main topic of the Forum is development of the chemical industry in such areas as innovations, investments, and ecology. This year the Forum’s session runs in the Khimia exhibition hall to attract greater attention to the issues discussed on the part of market participants and industry experts.
In his welcome address President of the Russian Chemists Union Viktor Ivanov said that industry enterprises, educational institutions, research centres, and institutes of the Academy of Sciences, i.e. everybody who wanted to share the information and make a presentation at the Forum, would take part in the Forum.
The Forum was traditionally opened with a speech of a representative of the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade. Head of Department Alexander Orlov provided valuable insights into the chemical industry, identified its key trends, and told about the Ministry's activities aimed at support of chemical companies.
