3rd Moscow International Chemical Forum to run in October at Expocentre Fairgrounds

During the Khimia 2015 International Exhibition for the Chemical Industry and Science on 28 – 29 October 2015 Expocentre will host the 3rd Moscow International Chemical Forum ‘Development Strategy: Chemistry for the Russian Industry’.

The Forum’s organizer, the Russian Chemists Union, informs that starting from the first day the plenary meetings will be devoted to opportunities and problems facing chemists and petrochemists as suppliers of solutions and materials for such important industries as construction, agriculture, housing services and utilities, machine building.

It is expected that the first revisions to the Development Strategy of the Russian Chemical and Petrochemical Industry till 2030 will be announced at the Forum.

Consumers and suppliers will discuss measures of how to promote usage of new materials. The most significant topics are expected to be development of the Russian petrochemistry, how to supply various already announced projects with raw materials, and how to boost demand for polymers.

The Forum will be a major associated event of the Khimia 2015 Exhibition, which celebrates its 50th anniversary this year. Today Khimia brings together several chemical trade shows – Chem-Lab-Analyt, Chemmash. Pumps, Green Chemistry, and Plastics Industry Show. The anniversary edition will welcome about 500 companies from 25 countries. Belarus, China, Finland, France, Germany and India will have national pavilions.

Khimia 2015 will run on 27-30 October 2015.
