Competition of Young Scientists at the Khimia exhibition

We have the pleasure of inviting you to submit results of your research to the 11th Competition of Young Scientists. This year it is devoted to the 85th anniversary of academician Pavel Sarkisov, the founder of the competition, who developed its ideology. To take part, please, submit your application and theses till 15 September 2017. The participation is free of charge.

The final stage of the competition will be held at the 20th anniversary International Exhibition of the Chemical Industry and Science Khimia 2017 on 23-26 October 2017 at Expocentre Fairgrounds, Moscow.


We welcome young researchers (people under 30, not PhD holders) to submit their research projects implemented in such fields as

- chemistry
- chemical engineering
- petrochemistry
- nanotechnology
- biotechnology.

Each organization may submit no more than 5 projects. After the preliminary examination by the Expert Board, the projects selected should be presented at the special session.

All projects will be considered and judged under the following criteria: relevance of the topic, level of the research; practical interest for chemical companies, quality of written and oral presentation, its design and results of academic discussion.

The final competition will be held on the 24th of October at 10.00 in Conference Hall of Expocentre Fairgrounds.

The winners will be awarded with diplomas and prizes.

• Ivan Novakov, academician, President of Volgograd State Technical University,
• Evgeny Yurtov, corresponding Member of RAS, Head of Department at Mendeleev University of Chemical Technology of Russia
