Neuman & Esser presents its developments in classification at Khimia 2017

24 / 07 / 2017

On 23-26 October 2017 the 20th edition of the Khimia International Exhibition of Chemical Industry and Science will ran at Expocentre Fairgrounds. It is the largest chemical trade fair in Russia.
This year Neuman & Esser presents state-of-art developments in classification.

Product properties are substantially influenced by the amount of fines.
Especially particles < 6µm lead to agglomeration which deteriorate pourability, reaction rate or applicability.

For an efficient removal of fine dust, a GRC classifier can be used. A special type of classifier wheel is used to realize the separation of dust in the range of 50 µm to 1 µm at a degree of separation above k = 0.8. The circumferential speed of the classifier wheel is adjustable between 20 to 100 m/s (66 ft/ sec to 328 ft/sec).

The GRC classifier developed by Neuman & Esser has proven to be reliable and highly selective in separation during daily operation. The patent for this newest design has been applied in 2016.

The GRC classifier can be used as offline classification system which is not connected to a grinding system also.

The main Neuman & Esser portfolio also incorporates Pendulum Mills, Impact Classifier Mills, Cyclone Classifiers, Cyclone Filters and Air Separators for coarse and fine classification.

We are looking forward to seeing you at our exhibition stand No.21Å35 in Pavilion No.2, Hall 1.
