Russian President congratulated Khimia on its anniversary

President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin has sent a welcoming address to the Khimia International Exhibition, which will ran at Expocentre Fairgrounds on 27–30 October, 2015.

Mr Putin congratulated the exhibitors, visitors and organizers on the 50-year anniversary of the exhibition saying that “50 years ago the first edition of Khimia had started the history of international trade shows in this country and established traditions of the Russian exhibition industry for the years to come.”

The president said in his address, “It is very important that Khimia has rightfully remained a large and significant event in the life of the global professional community. It is the place where the latest accomplishments in the chemical industry are demonstrated, its prospects are discussed, and new business contacts are made. Moreover, Khimia plays an important role in strengthening the international scientific cooperation in the field of chemistry and chemical technology.”

Mr Putin expressed his confidence that “that the show will have a lot of success and its many associated events will attract the attention of experts from many countries, and give a start to many new promising projects.”
