Russian-Chinese negotiations concerning co-operation in holding exhibitions for the chemical industry
On April 27, 2009 Expocentre saw Russian-Chinese negotiations concerning co-operation in holding exhibitions for the chemical industry.
On the Russian side negotiations were assisted by Vice-President of the Russian Union of Chemists V.V. Semenov, Principal Adviser of the Chemical Industry Division of the Chemical Engineering and Bioengineering Technologies Department of the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade A.E. Zuevskaya, and Expocentre Deputy Director General M.P. Tolkachyev. The Chinese delegation was headed by Vice-President and Secretary General of China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Association CPCIA and Vice-President of Sub-Council of Chemical Industry CCPIT Mr. Zhao Jungui.
The possibilities of extending co-operation between Russia and China in the chemical industry were discussed during the meeting. The participants considered the perspectives for developing exhibitions devoted to the chemical industry at Expocentre Fairgrounds and in China.
The national exposition of Chinese manufactures is to be arranged at the 15th International Exhibition for Chemical Industry and Science – KHIMIA’2009 – running September 28 – October 2, 2009 at Expocentre Fairgrounds.
Exhibition site
